JAMES DUFF On Thursday June 30, 2005 at the Deer Lodge Centre, Jim Duff passed away at the age of 95 years. Jim was born on December 26, 1909 in Winnipeg, MB. On November 22, 1941 he married Louise Warren. Jim served with the Royal Canadian Air Force and enjoyed a lengthy career with Rexall Drugs. Jim will be remembered as a kind, gentle, and compassionate man. His warm smile will be missed by all who knew him. Jim was predeceased by his wife, Louise, in 1998. Jim and Louise enjoyed entertaining, travelling, playing golf and playing bridge together. He was also predeceased by his sister, Isabella Duff in 1995 and his parents Vear and James Duff Sr., as well as Louise's sisters, Eleanor and Marjorie in 1992. He will be lovingly remembered by the Serbin family and his many special friends. Many thanks to the staff at Deer Lodge for their care and support and to Terry for her assistance with Jim. A memorial service to celebrate Jim's life will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Avenue. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Jim's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba or the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation.
